Capoeira is a Brazilian art form that combines elements of martial arts, sports, and music. The most commonly related dance form it’s been related to is break-dancing. 
It is known by quick and complex moves, using mainly power kicks and quick leg sweeps, with some ground and aerial acrobatics, knee strikes, take-downs, elbow strikes, punches and headbutts.
The dance aspect of it comes from the fluid movements tied with the music and the fact that you tend to do Capoeira in pairs or groups. The fighting tactics come in to play in pairs. One can either attack or defend, each movement has a counterpart that makes the dance fighting a beautiful and physically challenging art.
